My ATC Service

After retiring in 2019, I made a conscious decision to take a few years off and focus on various projects. This meant I was finally able to complete my historical novel in 2024 and publish it in the spring of 2025. For a change of pace, I spent some time in Israel once a year to teach air traffic control courses at the IAA. This allowed me to stay connected to my favourite subject, air traffic control.
In the spring of 2025, I decided to return to my ‘old’ profession and planned a sort of ‘comeback’. The skyguide Academy rehired me as a freelance instructor, and I was able to renew my expired licence.
This also enables me to work across Europe whilst continuing my activities in Israel.

My favourite tasks are teaching in the classroom and conducting training sessions on the simulator. Thanks to my methodological and teaching experience, as well as my technical expertise as a course leader, I am not only able to deliver courses, but also to develop them. At the same time, I have many years of experience as an supervisor and am therefore able to lead SUP courses.
